More than just records
High Hoyland Graveyard
is in the parish of All Saints' Church, Clayton West with High Hoyland. Clayton West lies on the Huddersfield boundary with Barnsley and is part of the Wakefield Diocese of the Church of England.
The purpose of this site is to provide details for relatives and friends of those buried in High Hoyland graveyard.
It is also the intention of this site to provide a record of every burial in the graveyard and wherever possible to pinpoint any given grave.
All Hallows Church
All Hallows is on Church Lane, High Hoyland and was an ancient site for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A lot of records
.This project was started in January 2001 and so far contains over 4365 burial records but is expected to far exceed the 4500 mark maybe even reach 5500.
Sadly for the relatives of many of those buried it will not be possible to locate the exact grave.
However with the help of relatives and friends I am sure that we can ascertain the final resting place of many more than the records detail.
